In today lesson we discussed how to use the opening titles of a film effectively. We looked at 3 famous film openings on the website 'www.artofthetitles.com' and i've written notes to these. We also discussed how effective it is to put opening credits on top of video or slotted inbetween clips. Whilst watching the openings i noted down what information is given to the audience;
director
editor
main casting role actors/actresses
screenplay
production company
film title
and some openings had a few other less important roles shown.
